About Library
Shri Shivaji Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Barshi’s Karmaveer Mamasaheb Jagdale College, Washi is affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. The library is the soul of the college and it is the function of the library to use the reading material in the library and that is why the readers place an important place on the work of the library. That is why the college library has its own importance in higher education. The college library helps in expanding the range of knowledge and information of the teachers and students. And the college library always welcomes the users for the service. In our college, there is a combination of seniors and juniors in Arts, Science, Commerce, B.C.S., B.C.A, as well as postgraduate M.A. Political science and vocational courses are almost all such disciplines and more than 2200 students are studying. The number of teachers and non-teaching staff of the college are 110 and the teaching work is going well. Our College Library has made and continues to make every effort to provide the necessary materials to all the constituents of the College, which has resulted in a quantitative and qualitative increase in the facilities of the Library. The library of our college has been computerized and all the books have been given book-coding, convergence and computerized identity cards with barcodes to all the teachers, students and post-teaching staff in the library and new students are given every year. The library is equipped with the perfect e-Granthalaya 3.0 software developed for the library by the NIC Department of the Government of India using the July 2017 software. The College Library is always open to students and teachers and is used extensively by students in rural areas. Library staff takes care of the safety of library materials as well as sprays it twice a year and thrice if required for the protection of books and newspapers using dry preventive pesticides and chemicals. Our college library has computers, Internet, N-List, Dr. BAMU KRC Library Remote Access (Database) NDIL facility, Bandwidth etc. are available. All the work in the library is done for library purposes like magazine registration and exchange library books issue and return and all other work is done through library software. Readers can use OPAC to search for books and others like e-books, e-journals etc. Materials in the OPAC library can be searched by subject, author, ISBN, accession number, etc. and can be found instantly.

Working Hours : 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Saturday : 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
Issue counter timing : 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Internet surfing Hours : 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Reading room : 09.00 am to 5.00 pm.
